The first week back to school proved to be a busy week. Tuesday was my oldest daughters Spelling Bee and as I said in my previous post, she did not do as well as she had hoped. She came in 9th place. Even though she was disappointed, we are very proud of her. On Friday my youngest had her very first Spelling Bee she in 3rd grade. The Spelling Bee consisted of over 20 kids ranging from 3rd grade to 5th grade. Bailey came in 4th place. She was very pleased with herself and we were very proud of her.

We got slammed by this weather. Six inches of sleet with four foot drifts. The kids haven't gone to school all week.
